Valerie Winrow becomes Director of External Affairs for the Downtown CID

The Town Center Community Improvement District (TCCID) announced today that Valerie Winrow has been hired as Director of External Affairs.

She will be in charge of the organization’s public relations and communications.

TCCID said in its press release:

In this role, she will lead internal and external communications and public relations activities to foster positive public awareness and support the organization’s goals, messages and initiatives while leveraging her 25 years of experience in communications, environmental stewardship, planning and corporate social responsibility.

“We are incredibly delighted that Valérie is joining the Downtown CID in this role. She brings extensive experience in the public and private sectors with a passion for community service and working collaboratively to create a vibrant future for Town Center, ”said Tracy Styf, Executive Director of Town Center CID.

Winrow holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration and political studies, and a degree in urban planning and economic development, both from Georgia State University.

After her undergraduate studies, she obtained a master’s degree in natural resources and sustainability from Virginia Tech University.

She came to TCCID after holding positions with Equifax, Cox Communications and the Atlanta City Public Works Department.
