Surplus of foreign trade in goods at 135 million euros in May

Hungary’s surplus on foreign trade in goods stood at 135 million euros in May, according to data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH).

The export value was €12.116 billion and the import value was €11.981 billion in May 2022.

The share of EU Member States was 76% in exports and 71% in imports.

Compared to May 2021, the value of exports increased by 28% and that of imports by 27% in euros.

Compared to April 2022, the level of exports of goods increased by 9.2% and that of imports of goods by 3.1%.
