Russia to pay foreign debt in rubles if forex accounts remain blocked, TASS says By Reuters

(Reuters) – Russia will honor its external ruble obligations if the Central Bank and government’s foreign currency accounts remain blocked by Western sanctions, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov was quoted by TASS news agency as saying.

Russian obligations to foreign investors would be fulfilled in any case, Siluanov said, according to TASS.
