Mohamed bin Zayed receives Indian Foreign Minister

Abu Dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates, received Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of India on Sunday.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed welcomed Jaishankar and wished him a successful visit.

Jaishankar conveyed greetings from Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, to Sheikh Mohamed and best wishes for progress and prosperity for the United Arab Emirates and further development of bilateral relations.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi returned his greetings to the Prime Minister of India and wished more development, progress and stability for the friendly people of India.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the strategic ties between the UAE and India and ways to strengthen them in the best interests of the two friendly peoples.

Sheikh Mohamed and Jaishankar exchanged views on a number of issues and the latest regional and international developments of common interest.

The meeting took place in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Airports; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme National Security Council; and Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority and member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
