Jervois appoints Alicia Brown as group leader
Alicia Brown will join Jervois Global Limited (“Jervois”) as Group Manager – External Affairs, based at the Company’s headquarters in Melbourne, Australia.
Ms. Brown brings valuable experience in mergers and acquisitions and external relations gained in previous roles with MMG Ltd and the Australian Federal Government.
The role will focus on maximizing the effectiveness of Jervois’ relationships with key government stakeholders in all jurisdictions where the company operates.
Victoria, Australia – The Newswire – June 6, 2022, Jervois Global Limited (“Jervois“or the”Company”) (ASX:JRV) (TSXV:JRV) (OTC:JRVMF) is pleased to announce that Alicia Brown has joined the position of Group Director – External Affairs, effective today at Headquarters social society in Melbourne, Australia.
Ms Brown joins Jervois with over 25 years’ experience, including three years with the Australian Government’s Department of Defense based in Canberra, and 12 years in senior roles with global mining company MMG Ltd (“MMG”). At MMG, Ms. Brown was responsible for leading the acquisition and divestiture transactions, including managing all key stakeholder relationships and associated regulatory approvals. Prior to leading M&A projects, Ms. Brown led strategic research and policy analysis for MMG and its predecessors in Australia.
In her role as Group Head – External Affairs, Ms. Brown will lead the global coordination of government relations for Jervois, maximizing efficiency and alignment of activities with group strategy and key relationship management. The role also provides Jervois with additional leadership support in evaluating future acquisition opportunities or other corporate transactions as circumstances dictate.
