Foreign trade deficit in goods at 475 million euros in April

Hungary’s deficit on foreign trade in goods amounted to 475 million euros in April 2022, according to data published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH).

The value of exports amounted to 11.052 billion euros and that of imports to 11.527 billion euros.

The value of exports was 12% and that of imports 21% higher in euros in April 2022 compared to the same period of the previous year.

The share of EU Member States was 77% in exports and 70% in imports.

The balance of foreign trade in goods deteriorated by 812 million euros.

Compared to March 2022, the level of exports of goods decreased by 8.9% and that of imports of goods by 10%.
